Howdy!

Welcome to the supporters' newsletter for Kentucky Route Zero !  We'll be sending this newsletter out around this time each month, with updates on the game, screenshots & videos not published elsewhere.

At the moment, we're hard at work getting ready for the Game Developers Conference / Independent Games Festival which starts just under a week from now.  Jake's game A House in California is a finalist for the Nuovo award at this year's IGF .  We're also preparing a short demo of Kentucky Route Zero to share with people we meet there and try to get some feedback on.

The demo is a shortened version of an area situated somewhere around the middle of the game called The Hall of the Mountain King .  A computer science professor and his interns, working on a video game, coded too deep and too cleverly -- and ended up the prisoners of a charismatic computer simulation who led them deep into Mammoth Cave.

Next month we'll have our first gameplay video to share with you right here, along with any other updates from our experience at GDC/IGF !
