Soundtrack Update

Happy Julaugust, y'all!  This summer's mix of apocalyptic thunderstorms and sticky heat has set a good tone for our little southern magic adventure game.

A few days ago we met up with Ben Babbitt to pick up the complete soundtrack for Kentucky Route Zero, and we're happy to be sharing a small piece of it with you now.  But first a few notes about that release.  The soundtrack will be released in an inexpensive digital version around the same time as the game, and will be sold directly by the band (The Bedquilt Ramblers).  We're printing up a short & stictly limited hardcopy CD run now, for the supporters who chose that reward.  My sister Rebecca Elliott is going to do some nice hand-printed sleeves for them.  The image at the top of this email is Tamas' first design for the cover.

So here's a new song from the soundtrack. This is the song we used in the trailer, but a new recording of it by The Bedquilt Ramblers (the original recording in the trailer was by Bill Monroe) - This World is Not My Home .
